Over the years, Disney has gained a reputation for box office dominance with their various movie studios. But not every movie is a winner.
This week, we go back to 2015 to look at one of the rare box office flops for Disney . . . Tomorrowland.
On paper, this movie should have been a home run. It had a great director in Brad Bird, an A list star in George Clooney and a story that tied into the history of Walt Disney and Disneyland.
And yet, despite all of the that, basically no one went to see it.
So what went wrong?
We watched (the surprisingly good)Tomorrowland to find out, so join us as we look back on one of Disney’s lesser known films

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
Daredevil Born Again dropped its first two episodes this week, and while we are excited to see where the story goes, we do hope Disney hasn’t taken away what made the Netflix series so great.
Plus Duffy is making his parade debut over at Disneyland this summer.
There’s so much to do at the Disney parks, there’s no way you can do it all in one day.
But what if you got to plan your perfect day?
In the start to a new series, we’re planning our perfect day at Magic Kingdom.
What rides do we rope drop?
Where’s are go to lunch spot?
Do we catch a parade or nighttime show or both?
After we reveal our perfect day, let us know what you would include in yours.

Monday Mar 03, 2025
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
Disney is well known for the innovation and immersion of their attractions and no ride system is more magical than trackless rides.
With the freedom to go anywhere and the thrill of unexpected twists and turns, trackless rides stand out as some of the best attractions Disney has ever made.
But which one is the best?
This week, we finally answer that question as we rank our all time favorite trackless rides.

Is a Disney VIP Tour Worth It?
Monday Feb 24, 2025
Monday Feb 24, 2025
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
Disney World announced that Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s will be dropping their virtual queue this week, which may or may not be a ploy to get more people to buy Lightning Lanes.
Plus we finally have a replacement for the defunct NBA Experience at Disney Springs and it’s very similar to the previous tenant, Disney Quest. Coincidence? You be the judge.
Have you ever seen a group of people in the parks with a Plaid and thought “are they a celebrity?”
If you’re like us, then the answer is a definite Yes.
But the answer 99% of the time is that they are just a group on a VIP Tour.
VIP Tours are one of the most unique (and expensive) tours Disney offers and allows up to 10 people to do whatever they want across all of the parks for the day.
We were lucky enough to be able to join some friends on their VIP Tour, so now we’re giving a full recap from the highlights to the things we’d do differently.
So join us as we recap one of the most fun (and expensive) days we’ve had at Disney World.

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
This week Tokyo Disney announced a 20th anniversary celebration for Duffy and friends and to say Angela is obsessed with the merch is an understatement.
In this week’s episode, Angela is in the hot seat for a game we’re calling Guess the Attraction.
From a set of three clues Angela must correctly identify each Walt Disney World Attraction.
But, for each additional clue it takes her to guess correctly, she loses more points.
How many will she get correct?
Will she miss any points?
Tune in to find out and play along to see how well you know the Disney World attractions.

Would You Rather Have a Disney Animatronic or a New Car?
Monday Feb 10, 2025
Monday Feb 10, 2025
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
In this week’s Disney news, Disneyland is getting all of the cool stuff again and Disney World is left with NOTHING.
OK, maybe that’s a bit of an overreaction, but we really wish Disney World would just get a few of the cool meet and greets Disneyland gets.
Disney collectibles can be pretty pricey. People have sold everything from old ticket books to Walt’s signature.
And for the right item, people are willing to pay . . . A LOT!
But how much is too much for the right Disney collectible?
Would you be willing to give up a month of eating at your favorite restaurant for a tea set?
Maybe an old animatronic instead of a new car?
On this week’s show we answer these questions and more as we play a game of would you rather to determine just how much we’d be willing to give up for some of the most obscure and expensive Disney collectibles out there.

Monday Feb 03, 2025
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
This week we finally found out the fate the Galactic Starcruiser building and it’s not what we were hoping for. Plus our dreams of visiting Jellyrolls maybe crushed.
We talk about food pretty frequently on this show and for good reason - Disney parks have tons of great places to eat.
Usually the biggest issue is narrowing down the choices to what’s the best option for you and your group.
Well, luckily for you, this week we’re here to give you some recommendations based on our most recent trip to Disney World.
We tried a lot of new restaurants on our last trip, so we’re going to cover everything we ate, the price and whether we think it’s worth going back to.
So tune in, because you just might find your new favorite dining spot!

Monday Jan 27, 2025
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
The changes have started over at Walt Disney World, as Dinoland has officially closed and Disney announced a closure date for MuppetVision 3D.
Is going to the parks all day not enough walking for you at Disney World?
Then the Dopey Challenge might be for you.
This year we both participated in the Dopey Challenge, which is 48.6 miles of races over four days, and while we both survived it sure was an exhausting trip.
We’re back this week to recap our entire experience from the early mornings to the race courses to balancing running and spending the day in the parks.
And who knows maybe after listening to this, you’ll sign up for next year’s Dopey Challenge!

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
It’s a Small World with Root debuted at Tokyo Disneyland this week and it looks absolutely adorable!
Plus Disney announced that their next three cruise ships will actually be smaller than the current Wish class ships allowing them to enter more markets.
Planning a trip to Disney World can be stressful and confusing, especially if it’s your first time.
Luckily, we put together this episode to act as a 101 guide for planning for first Disney World trip. And even if it’s not your first trip, there still is a lot of helpful advice.
Like, what’s the best time of year to go?
Which hotel should I stay at?
How far in advance should I book my trip?
So if you’re thinking about planning a magical vacation, be sure to tune in.

Opening Day: Animal Kingdom
Monday Jan 13, 2025
Monday Jan 13, 2025
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
Disney’s Wild Animal Kingdom was a big gamble for the Company. A theme park focused more on live animals and conversation than Disney IP was something Disney had not really tried before.
But with the growing success of Disney World as a vacation destination, the time seemed right to build a 4th park.
Luckily for us, Disney’s Animal Kingdom (as it would come to be known) was placed in the hands of legendary Imagineer Joe Rohde, who traveled the globe to make sure the park was authentic as possible.
But that didn’t mean it was all smooth sailing.
As is common with Disney, the park went over budget, lands were cut and when it opened there weren’t many attractions for guests to enjoy.
So join us this week as we take a look back at one of our favorite Disney parks, to see what it was like on opening day.
