This week in Disney News, Disney shares its financial report and we learn that although park attendance is down, overall guest spending is up. Also, Disney World takes a page out of Tokyo Disneyland’s book and is now offering a special edition popcorn tin for Christmas.
This week we discuss the highlights from Bob Iger’s book, The Ride of a Lifetime. Starting at ABC, Iger was an unlikely candidate for CEO after Mike Eisner. We discuss Iger’s important contributions to the Disney company and speculate what was the most important acquisition that happened during his reign.
