This new year is full of so many amazing Disney developments and this week we talk about them all. (Okay, I’m sure we missed things, but bear with us.) Disney’s killin’ it with sequels this year- Frozen 2, Avengers: End Game, Star Wars Episode 9- and a few new, exciting movies like Captain Marvel. Speaking of Star Wars, holy 🐄 Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens this year!!! Ahhhh!!!! Plus, we talk about taxidermied lions cats and start the rumor that whoever wins the Star Wars Rival Run will get early access to Galaxy’s Edge- it certainly won’t be us. Plus we adopt a new tag line: Enchanted Ears Podcast: Settin’ the Bar Low Since 2018.

Happy holidays! It’s been quite an amazing year! In this final episode of 2018, we recap our 2018 Disney highlights and discuss what we’re looking forward to most in 2019. Quality, yet again, is really the focal point here. It’s incredible what Disney does with consistency...they just make it look so EASY to produce greatness. Joe introduces the phrase audience-goer into the vernacular and we do a brief review of a non-Disney product, Aquaman, which we saw on Saturday. (If you go see it, record how many times they steal lines from The Lion King to reiterate that Jason Momoa...I mean Arthur Curry...is the “one true king.” I think I counted at least three.) Anyway, thanks for listening and helping us get this podcast off the ground! We’re looking forward to what 2019 has to bring! 😁

n preparation for Disney’s release of Ralph Breaks the Internet (out November 21), we watched Wreck It Ralph again. In this episode, we remind ya’ll about what happens in the first movie and highlight some of the high points of the original concept. We also predict what we think Disney should emphasize in this larger-than-life concept where literally all of human existence and every meme ever created is fair game.
