Happy holidays! It’s been quite an amazing year! In this final episode of 2018, we recap our 2018 Disney highlights and discuss what we’re looking forward to most in 2019. Quality, yet again, is really the focal point here. It’s incredible what Disney does with consistency...they just make it look so EASY to produce greatness. Joe introduces the phrase audience-goer into the vernacular and we do a brief review of a non-Disney product, Aquaman, which we saw on Saturday. (If you go see it, record how many times they steal lines from The Lion King to reiterate that Jason Momoa...I mean Arthur Curry...is the “one true king.” I think I counted at least three.) Anyway, thanks for listening and helping us get this podcast off the ground! We’re looking forward to what 2019 has to bring! 😁

n preparation for Disney’s release of Ralph Breaks the Internet (out November 21), we watched Wreck It Ralph again. In this episode, we remind ya’ll about what happens in the first movie and highlight some of the high points of the original concept. We also predict what we think Disney should emphasize in this larger-than-life concept where literally all of human existence and every meme ever created is fair game. Will Disney be able to keep control with such an over abundance of possible pop culture references?

Most of them are cute. A lot of them are fuzzy. All of them are awesome! This week we discuss some of our favorite Disney sidekicks. From gorillas to chameleons to genies, Disney’s thought of it all. We categorize and discuss what makes a truly great sidekick (hint: it’s not big eyes and an adorable face, although that helps). Also, we propose Enchanted Ears podcast bingo, a game where you as the listener can try to win depending on whether we mention our favorite topics of conversation that week or not.
