Welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week we’re honored and excited for you to hear our interview with Disney Legend Tom Nabbe. But before we get to that, let’s talk about that all-important Disney News.

And instead of Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney World announced it’ll have Boo Bash, a scaled-down event with characters and cavalcades.
Tom Nabbe proved to be such a fabulous source of information, we’re excited to bring to you part one of our two part interview this week! In this portion, we talk about Nabbe’s humble beginnings at the park going from selling papers, to convincing Walt to let him play Tom on Tom Sawyer’s Island. When he aged out of that awesome position, Nabbe moved to Skipper on the Jungle Cruise and we get some fabulous insight on what it’s like to do that crazy cool job. We finish up when Nabbe moved to WDW for the opening of the Monorail. Mr. Nabbe also provides really interesting insight into what it was like working for Walt Disney and how to advocate for yourself to get what you want.
