This week we begin our Disney Decades series with the Roaring 20s, a time when people spent out the wazoo and men had never heard of hair gel or used tar to tame their crazy locks (unsuccessfully). #alternativefacts During this time, Walt Disney experiences difficulty between bankruptcy and “Bad Blood” Taylor Swift/Katy Perry-level fights, reminding us all that failure paves the road to success. (That is unless your failure is the failure to do a good Mickey Mouse or Goofy impression. In that case, give up, you’re scaring the kids.) We keep the singing to a minimum again this week, but struggle to not make a Hamilton reference every five minutes. But it is true, all conflicts should be settled by rap battles. In other news, we had so much Disney news this week that it’s hard to remember it all. We hope you enjoy learning about early Disney as much as we did.
