Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.
This week in Disney News, we have an update on lines at Rise of the Resistance since it officially switched from having a virtual boarding group to a standby line last week.
We're very much looking forward to Disney+ Day on November 12, where we're getting new shows, seasons of shows we love, movies are being released, and we're getting a sneak peak into the future of Star Wars and Marvel!
Finally, if you're unable to make it to the 50th anniversary celebration (or you just can't wait), Disney will be live streaming Harmonious and Disney Enchantment at the end of this month!
This week, we talk about how Disney's celebrating the 50th anniversary in Disney World! There's a lot of new restaurants, decorations, rides, cavalcades, and the return of some parties that'll help kick off the 50th in style. (And seriously, in style...did you see the characters' new iridescent costumes?!)
But, it wouldn't be a celebration of 50 years if we didn't do a little dive into where Disney World started! No way! So, we also discuss the park's origins, how much it would've cost you to get in when it opened, and what is original to the park.
